Can any bright spark tell me why a Kangaroo and an Emu feature on the Australian flag?
I thought the Australian flag was blue with a small union jack in the top left corner and six or seven stars or am i missing something. 
Because for once they weren’t trying to eradicate everything that was there before they were ?

It says that these animals are depicted because they are the only animals that can’t walk backwards! So maybe it’s on some Aussie state flag. Or maybe an Aussies tee shirt for all I know.

It’s on their coat of at arms and the two animals probably means a country going forward only.
