Quiet night on the roads 11/4/20

Felt really strange tonight, there was so little traffic it was spooky.
Picked a trailer up at Haverhill at 22:30 and between there and the M6 was passed by one car.
M1/M6/A14 junction up to M54 J3 overtaken by One truck (RM) and five cars. So, on a 3 1/2 hour drive was passed by seven vehicles, and I didn’t overtake anyone.

Perfect driving conditions.

I live on a main holiday route to Bridlington and Scarborough. Someone on the local Facebook group took a photo yesterday at 10am in the morning stood in the middle of the road of what would normally be a rammed full bypass with not a single vehicle in sight.

Local news showed one person on the beach at Scarborough walking their dog. To think that in the first weekend of lockdown it was busier than a normal bank holiday.
