Just say you have not worked for the pervious 28days. How are you ment to show tachos if you dont have any? Im currently in this situation and it has just crossed my mind. thanks

You don’t show them because you can’t :slight_smile:

If they ASK, you just tell them the truth - had no work for 28+ days or been on holiday for a month or, in my case, locked up in a looney bin for a while :laughing: etc etc

If you are venturing over the water it would be a good idea to get the boss to complete one of these.

I know someone this happened to, he was stopped by VOSA at a roadside check, he was asked for his last 28 days worth of tachos he didnt have any, the reason? he works on an island an is tacho exempt. This wasnt good enough for them so his employer had to fax/email a letter to the relevant authorities before he was allowed to go on his way. He was told that if he didnt have 28 days of charts in future he should have a cover letter from his employer saying that he has not been off the island and therefor has no charts.
