Long time…no post… I have had a look through the posts but can’t find anything specific to my question.
First week with new unit, Daff CF 
, Digi tacho.
What is the correct procedure when my vehicle is moved around yard by loader or shunter with no card, when I have signed off and gone home?.
When I put my card in next day I get driving without card downloaded onto my card ,I think.
We’ve had no instruction on the use of digi tacho, blind leading the blind.

As far as i know the vehicle will store the “Driving without Card” message but thats not to say its putting that infringment directly against you.
You can prove when you signed in and out so that should be sufficient.
I do however make a note of when my vehicle gets moved and why this happened just to watch my own back.

I get exactly the same. The vehicle unti just registers the last ‘event’, it does show on your print out but the time will be different from when you inserted the card. You can safely press ‘ok’ and ignore it. I have it on good authority that the authoritys know a vehicle may be moved about to be loaded overnight for example on site and they don’t penalise you for it.
