could any one tell me if there are any low bridges between Pwltheli and Porthmadog on the A497 please, I’m going there in the morning with a 13 6 trailer and the page on my Atlas has disintegrated

I’ve just ‘driven’ it on Google Street view and only encountered one bridge, marked as being 15’ 0" maximum vehicle height. You meet it not far after leaving/shortly before arriving in Porthmadog.

The only bridge shown in the AA Truckers Atlas is the one Neil has pointed out, there is a 13’ 3" bridge on the A498 just off the A497 towards Beddgelert, but you don’t want to go there :wink:

Thanks mate, managed to do my drop and get back in one piece, it’s very easy to come unstuck in that area in anything bigger than a transit

No thanks Neil but after the thread about the Halfords driver in Beddgelert last week then going in on Monday morning and seeing I was getting all our Welsh shops this week, I thought I had better double check my directions to save any twitchy bum moments and ending up on the forum for all the wrong reasons :blush:
