Quick answer needed, ref weekly rest

Last weekend i had a reduced weekly rest, about 29 hours.
I then worked last sunday night from 18.00 (end of rest) till midnight sun night.
Worked monday night and had tuesday off.
Then worked Wednesday, 8 hrs day turn.
Im rostered to work today but no tacho/ driving today.
I need to work Sat night, back in next monday night.
My question is, can i work tommorow to get truck from garage in the afternoon, 2 hour drive tops.
Cheers fellas.
Edited to say, I had a full 45 hour weekly rest last weekend, not reduced 29.

You need a regular weekly rest to start no later than 2359 this sunday so providing you can do that then yes you can do the 2 hours Friday

your 2 days seem to have got you back
to clean cards so you can work, any unavailabilty
is down to your planners

How you figure that?

Where is the regular weekly rest in 2 weeks?

Thanks Rog, that must also mean i need to take monday night as rest also to get my 45 hours rest in.

Why doesn’t he need to start a regular weekly rest no later than 18.00 on saturday (rather than 23.59 sunday)?

Unless he’s not making a manual entry for the work done on thursday, then he might have already appear to have had one, but that wouldn’t be legal.

and which two days have cleared the slate?

Please ignore my first question above - I’ve worked it out now.

Well done - its not always easy to get head around all the rules

From what I see of it, If I do Friday, I cant do Saturday night.
Here it is in black and white, probably easier to understand where im coming from now.
Its a total one off, ■■■■ balling about kinda week hence the confusion.

where is the 45 hours off in one go ?

I am assuming you did not have a regular 45 off last week?

I did!!!
I actually ballsed up that scribble Rog. Have a look at it again. I had my 45 between the Friday and the Sunday night shift! I confused matters as I worked my Sat night shift on Friday instead so I actually had over 45 hours rest last weekend.
Now it doesn’t look so bad!!

Changing the scenario after everyone has replied is a bit sneaky

Anyway as you now know you can work tomorrow, you’re having Sunday off so you’re good to work next week.

yeah, tell me about it
I thought I’d worked last sat night because I was rostered to but I actually done my weekend turn on the Friday-day. Something I can sometimes get away with but not all the time. So yes, full weekly rest was taken last week between Friday at 15.30 and 18.00 sunday night.
Thanks for the input.

Now the new info is there it made all the difference
You have a regular weekly rest for last week
You already have a reduced for this week on tue + sun so you can choose which of those you want to use for this week
As you start back after a weekly rest on mon 2000 then the next weekly rest must start no later than 2000 on the sun at the end of next week
A regular weekly rest must start no later than 2359 on the sun at the end of next week

Think I said that lot correctly …

Thanks Rog, much obliged.
