Queues for petrol in London

Still massive queues around London at any garage that has fuel left. They are blocking roads and causing chaos. Been caught in about a dozen jams this week all caused by queues on the roads outside petrol stations, probably cost me a good few hours in total.
They are all descending on London gateway services, there has been a permanent queue there all week, including blocking the road for the truck park exit, muppets.
No problem at all though up north, all stations fine now

This fuel rationing scam was always about forcing EV’s way before the supposed cut off date to appease the climate scum.
It’s probably karma that they hit London hardest with it.This is what Kahn wanted.Strange how Londoners are voting with their wheels though and taking all the fuel supplies of the areas around the hole.Obviously all the petrol because they can’t use their smoking rattling diesels there now.

The lockdown - couldn’t convince people to leave the car at home, if not actually out buying food, or going to work…

Seems that “no fuel left” - isn’t keeping people at home either!

Look at the people sitting in these “Queues” - and do they look like they are on their way to work, got kids in back, or have a load of shopping?
Nope. It’s the usual 90%+ casual waste-of-space drivers who shouldn’t even be on the road for their oh-so-important journey most of us sensible people can go without, and dodge ALL queues, at least when on one’s own time… :grimacing:

Yes it was bad last week , don’t know about this week as not been down there , took 1/2 hr to get in one yard , 45 mins to get out , yard bloke said que blocking road had been like it most of week , trying to get to garage
Surprising really as they seem to have a higher % of ev,s so wouldn’t think they’d need so much petrol / diesel

Two weeks ago there wasn’t a problem.
Then suddenly there was.What changed.
All sudenly after the ‘climate protestors’ blocked the roads and the UN saying that we have to ‘redouble’ our efforts to go all nuclear electric so that ‘they’ can take all of our fossil fuel resources.
Also long after Shell has stated the intention to close down fossil fuel supplies at its forecourts to be replaced with EV charging only.
When we were told that we can still use fossil fuelled vehicles up to and beyond 2030.
They obviously won’t want to be holding any stores of unused fuel in their tanks when they switch the pumps off for the last time and soon.

We need to find some way of fighting this climate BS. There is another agenda beyond pushing electric vehicles.

As for it being “fossil fuel” - LOL - another great myth that has been pushed for decades. I better not mention the lakes of hydrocarbons on other planets in the solar system, or the abiotic theory of oil (which the Russians have exploited with great success for decades, and we’ve only just started to acknowledge is the real science - the same as diamond and coal formation), otherwise the Liberal eco idiots will have another seizure.

Since the 1970’s they have been screaming about “peak oil” but more was always found.

The whole thing is political. There is a disturbingly large minority that want to derail modern society and modern life, and to force us back into the stone age. We really need to kick these people out.

There is. Like Parliament was in the vast majority being “Remainers”, and resisited getting Brexit done for a full five years - the current Westminster shower - ALL parties - all have a leaning and intent to follow this “Green” fake ‘religion’ almost…

Let’s face it - it IS a belief system, since you are expected to buy without question:

The world will end if we don’t switch off all CO2 emissions on this planet. (Culling the human race - will achieve this…)

The fossil fuels are about to run out, and will become expensive more and more… It will eventually be a legal requirement to not use them at all, and none will be avaialble…

(Fine, if you get Free Electric via the government owning all the electric producers, rather than demolishing them, and buying from abroad when we’re trying to get OFF the EU teat, rather than become more dependent on them…)

Everyone has loads of money to buy a type of vehicle that will struggle to last 10 years, produces a huge carbon footprint to manufacture in the first place, and represents a huge “pollution” risk with accompanying damage to the environment when disposed of. Heavy Metal contamination of the soil - is a VERY serious danger in the years to come - and is entirely about Waste in the green industry rather than the much-publicized “Mining” which is all the green lobby want the sheepulation to look at instead… :unamused:

Personally, I believe in Man-Made environmental damage (Eg. Heavy Metal Contamination) but I don’t believe in Man-Made Climate Change - More CO2 is NOT going to turn us into “Planet Venus”.
If it really was all about CO2 - then the greenists would be considering a cull of mankind…
…Oh wait a minute … ! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Winseer:
More CO2 is NOT going to turn us into “Planet Venus”.

Venus’ temperature can be better explained by its atmospheric pressure combined with its closer distance to the Sun.
Which then raises the question of the greenhouse properties of CO2 at all.
CO2 is just processed into Oxygen by plants anyway on a net Oxygen biased conversion basis or we wouldn’t be here.

Nope, straight into Tesco today, filled up,BP stations seem to be still having problems though

Didn’t you retire?

So without recruiting anymore drivers the petrol shortage is now over with stations now on average 45% full and sales down by two thirds. Does anyone now believe that this was a genuine shortage or media hysteria helped by a leak from somone well placed in the haulage industry. Well done to the RHA for creating a totally false situation to try tofurther your aims and then seeing it fail no wonder the government will no longer talk to them.

The main reason this is “now over” - is that everyone who queued up over the past couple of weeks - hasn’t yet used up their full tank they wouldn’t normally have gotten…

…I’d already suggested that the vast majority of the “Sheeple” are in fact, casual road users who don’t need to be out-and-about at ALL.

The sudden lack of queues this week - would seem to confirm I was correct in that thinking. :sunglasses:

It’s all down to the 100 soldiers who saved the world
