Question regarding the provisional Cat C licence

A few weeks ago I sent my licence, D2 and D4 form’s to the DVLA and yesterday I received my licence back and the only thing that has changed on it is the date it was issued, there was no indication of being entitled to provisionally drive hgv’s. So I went on the online licence checker thing (Well worded I know) and I have the entitlements on there, so I wanted to ask if something on my plastic licence is meant to indicate the provisional entitlements?

I had mine back and was thinking the same as you. As long as you have the entitlement showing online you can book tests etc so don’t worry!

No, the photocard doesn’t show provisional entitlements (other than before you’ve passed any tests and it’s green).
They used to be listed on the counterpart, but this has been replaced by the online licence checking service.
