Got asked if I had one of them by a tesco,driver the other week,couldn’t load rubbish as he didn’t have one,just asked him how he checked his tail lift before he left depot ,just zb off in a huff

Otherwise its power for ancillary electrical equipment. . Taillift . Moving floor ie double deck raising / lowering . As also mentioned can be used to assist in jump starting a flat battery. .

It’s a lead to enable you to power the rear tail lift on the trailer & has nothing to do with the fact that it’s a fridge.
