This was retaliation for the Twin Towers attack. At the time of 9/11 there were no Western forces occupying or bombing muslim countries, so when muslims use the excuse of their lands been bombed when they cause terror attacks in the West, that is just utter bs. What was their excuse for 9/11?
Regarding the billboards, this is just another form of the creeping islamic culture changing the face of the West. You just have to look at many Towns in the UK which have mosques and minerets dominating the skyline, some even have the call to prayer ringing out across the area. Gradually our culture is been eroded and is been taken over by a backward alien culture and in a few generations people will say how the hell have we come to this? But by then it will be too late.

Sadly too many people nowadays have been conditioned to just put up and shut up, due to political correctness. You only have to look at the latest law which is coming out in Scotland regarding hate speech where it will be a crime to even think negatively about islam.Blasphemy laws coming in through the backdoor.
