Alright fellas, my first post is a question I know, I’m sorry lol. But a friend has asked to rent my CPC. Does anybody know roughly how much should I charge?

Varies a lot from area to area and also depending on the relationship with your “mate”. I would suggest anywhere between £25 and £35 a week.
I wonder if you rent a Driver CPC ?

There have been a few questions raised by TCs about this subject.
It seems that the TCs are sceptical about such arrangements because of the ‘guidance’ issued about the number of required hours per fleet size.
For example, a one-truck operation (they say) needs a TM’s input for 8 hrs per week, so the question is whether they believe a TM will work for:
£25 divided by 8hrs = £3.12 per hour, OR
£35 divided by 8hrs = £ 4.37 per hour.
Just a thought. 
I charge £25 a week for one vehicle,but as dieseldave says the TC’s will question why you’re not charging for eight hours if something goes wrong.
Charge an extra tenner for each additional vehicle plus travelling expenses.
