Question about Digi card & Digi Tach?

The company I work for are putting a new truck on the road tomorrow morning and I’m getting it :smiley: :smiley: Thing is it has a Digi Tach, something I’ve never used before even though I’ve had a Digi card for 2 yrs.

Now I’ve read all the bumf about the DTach and DCard and how to use them but I would be eternally gratefull if someone could just run through the procedure of using this equipment and card for me or point me in the direction of any previous threads.

I will be picking the truck up at 0700 and will be away until Friday so need to know about start procedure, what it should default too or how you set it to default to other work and whether to leave the DCard in whilst away. :question: :question:

The truck I’m getting is an IVECO Eurocargo and the Digi Tach looks like a factory fit thing :question:

to avoid the faff of taking it in and out
just leave it in the head until hometime Friday
just remember to end duty time
i’m no expert on them by the way

If you leave the card in whilst on a daily rest period you should remember to put in the end country when you finish work and the start country when you resume work for the next shift.
