I’m impressed by that one. Imagine if your foot slipped off the clutch when shunting round that hair pin, and I would be ■■■■■■■■ myself that the brick would come through the cab on the decent!!

Think I would have had it a bit further forward on the bed (not much weight on the steering) & had a couple of straps going from side to side.
Having said that- I wouldn’t fancy doing the job anyway.
That is why I love Iveco
I remember reading an article by the late Pat Kennett in T&D recaling visiting a quarry like this in italy in the 70s when they was using Fiat 8 leggers with a winch on where tgey dragged the lorry under the stone then put another on top.
He reconed it was one of the most frightening trips he ever took.
I hope they’ve done at least 21hrs DCPC training by now.
