“Could have been fined” - wtf, so he wasnt taken to court and had lots of points added to his no doubt perfectly clean licence…cough.
Wonder why it was being transported at night, eg: where’d they nick it from? And what the heck did they use to counterbalance it…lots of small workhouse children?
Isn’t that an open and shut case? Nothing should overhang the rear of a vehicle by more than 2m (from memory). Plod must have gotten his leg over before his shift to be such a generous mood.
