Q for Agency drivers - min. guaranteed hrs/shift

the maoster:
As a permanent driver I’d happily sign a contract where I work at 30 hours. It would mean overtime after 30 hours! Yeah I’d lose out if ever on the sick, but hey swings and roundabouts.

There’s no overtime, weekend, night time or bank holiday pay. Everything paid at flat rate per shift + fixed £ per hour after the 30th (as far as I understand it) weekly hour. No night outs ever so no luck there either.

I would be delighted to do 30 hours a week.

Too many helmet’s desperate to get away from their partners or/and driving round in their wagon with a rolled up ■■■ hanging out of their gob with their crappy tattoed arms hanging out of the window thinking they are Rubber duck. :unamused:

One thing I will give agency drivers though, at least they are not that thick that they buy their own air horns and Kelsa bars for their bosses trucks…

Sounds like the union bod needs a good kick up in the arse there, oh wait!

Robroy told me that your gaffer to would be delighted if you managed to do 30 hours in a week too. (The same week that is!)

I consider this post to not only be wholly inaccurate (I regularly do well in excess of 40 hrs, in fact I did 42 last week), but it’s a hate crime. In fact, Beavers Lives Matter.

As for Roy Kristofferson and his LGBT Navara, the last I heard was that his black eye was caused by a yoof in Wigston who objected to being offered a quick ride and a go of his horn.
