Push bike

Hi does anyone take a mountain bike away with them ? If so how do you mount it to the cab

Thanks for any info

I had a cycle rack that fits on the back of a car, mounted on the back of the cab above the suzies. The straps that hold it on the car also held it on the cab.

How about just having a folding bike that would easily go inside the cab. It wont get stolen and it wont get messed up with road spray.

I leave my bike up against the headboard inside my trailer

Be careful to check for clearances if mounting anything between cab and trailer. Check on level and on changes of slopes.
Quick release wheels, and even a non-folding bike will fit on the passenger seat too.
On multi drop type work, mine stayed inside the trl most of the time.

Would it fit on top of the cab under the wind deflector

Thanks for all the info I am going to look at fitting it to the back of the cab

Make sure the trailer won’t crush it when going round a bend!

Before close coupling came the norm,I worked with a guy who had the workshop put a rack and “skid” behind the cab for his MOPED he never got stuck on a night out in the middle of nowhere,or if he was out of time not far from home.
