They are special electrical circuits being installed for use by Vosa and other agencies for the connection of road level sensors that can detect vehicle speeds and locations combined with cameras they will be able to detect drivers hours infringments and speed offences automatically and send out automated penalties
These purple plastic pipes can be used to insulate any cable. They’re not just for gantry signs and VOSA gear I suggest.
They’re the same pipes that now run the length of the A14’ they’re for matrix signs!

No red or black. Red tends to be bigger dimension/voltage but not exclusively.
You can also add orange for street traffic lights & green for Cable TV.
