Pull them out !

I think its time the Government pulled the troops out of Afghanistan after the latest loss of six British servicemen.RIP.

It’s difficult to understand the logic of exactly what it is that they are supposed to be doing there and how running around the place for the next few years acting as a target for Pakistan based nutters solves the problem. The government say it is supposed to keep Britain safe while allowing any of those nutters who want to enter the country to come in and blow the place up anyway. :unamused: :unamused:

If the muslims are a threat here then kick the zb’s out and send them back home and if they still want to cause trouble after that then just nuke the zb’s. :bulb:

With the latest deaths 404 British service personnel have been killed in Afghanistan.I can’t see the point in anymore service men or women risking their lives in that country. The nut cases will do more damage here as long as our lot are poking their nose into anything to do with Afghanistan.

I think it is about time that Service call-up papers were served on Tony and Cherie Blair`s eldest son.
I wonder what that long-necked woman would say to her husband if THEIR son were to be killed
in a conflict brought upon us by a lying slimebag .

My thoughts are with the families of those who have recently died . R. I. P.

Thank You , cattle wagon man.

The only reason that the nutters can do any damage here is because our own government are the ones who want the open door immigration policy that allows them in and who support the so called ‘human rights’ and racism bs that prevents us from kicking out the ones who are already here.

Where Afghanistan,Pakistan and Iran amongst others are concerned it should just be a case of if they are a threat then wipe the zb’s out using strategic weapons if not then leave them alone.Simples.However the terrorist threat is all just an issue of immigration.

I’m not getting into the immigration argument. There are plenty young Brits emigrating to Canada and the Antipodes,so we can’t say a lot about who comes here.
I just say pull the troops out !!!

R.I.P to the six servicemen who have recently lost their lives in Afganistan, our thoughts and prayers for their families and freinds at this tragic time

I felt ill when I heard the news on the radio. I do every time it happens. I know how it feels to lose Shipmates and my pals died in '89.

The sad fact is that the troops can’t come home until the Afghans are able to contain the Taliban on their own.

We shouldn’t forget that Pakistan is a Nuclear power and none of us can afford to let the Taliban have control next door.

I totally agree that a few more politcians should try sending their own kids into the armed forces. Perhaps then, they might be a little more careful on how they spend our ‘Blood and Treasure’…

RIP to all the fallen

Why do they think that the ‘Afghans’ would ever be able,or even want,to control the Muslim nutters. They are all basically the same to a more or lesser extent as we saw when the yanks set fire to a few Korans for whatever reason and having Pakistan or Iran in control of nuclear weapons is no different to having the Taliban in control of them. The only way to defeat a nuclear threat is by use of a strategic threat in return not conventional ground forces as Kennedy showed in the 1960’s during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The Russians proved years ago that using conventional ground forces out there against Pakistan border based guerrilla forces doesn’t work and the zb British government obviously don’t have the common sense to have learn’t zb all from their experience. :imp: :unamused:

I don’t think that all Afgans and Pakistanis are crazed Islamists who wish to reduce the Western World to atomic ash. If they were, we wouldn’t be talking on the internet right now…

Pakistan is fragile enough, with more than enough Taliban enclaves as it is. Do any of us really want Afghanistan to become a Taliban nation?

On a slightly different note, don’t the powers that be in Iran belong to a different Islamic sect from the Afghans? I’m not sure but if they are I doubt they will work together.

Going back to the OP. There is a couple of other pretty big armies in Europe. How about they do a bit more instead?

Perhaps it’s that the rest of Europe,at least France, knows that they are all a bunch of zb’s.They’d also know,if they’ve got any sense, that if the Russians couldn’t beat the zb’s with the forces which it committed then there’s no way that a few sqauddies with a few planes and APC’s from here can do what the Russians couldn’t.

dailymail.co.uk/news/article … diers.html

Sooner or later we’re going to find ourselves in the situation of a united Muslim force made up of Pakistan and Iran amongst others regardless of wether it’s regular forces or irregulars together with a nuclear threat and the answer of those like you is to commit a few British squaddies to get wiped out on a piecemeal basis,on some wild goose chase to win hearts and minds of a bunch who are basically all just nutters to a greater or lesser degree.Supposedly to save us from their terrorism and nuclear threats, while letting the same zb’s walk into this country at zb Dover as they want.

The fact is every life that we’ve thrown away in that god foresaken zb place has been, and continues to be,a pointless waste. When what we should be doing is chucking out those that are here,at least those who are a known risk, and close our borders to all the others and cut our ties completely with that part of the world.

As for the nuclear threat from the Islamic bomb the only way to deal with that threat is the same way as we dealt with the threat of the Russian one. :imp: :unamused:

I doubt we will see a combined threat from Pakistan and Iran.

If India thought that Pakistan was going to reduce half it’s customer base to ashes they would of invaded by now.

Iran is too busy fighting a proxy war with the Saudis in every other Middle Eastern hotspot to even bother with the UK.

Like I said before, I think the Pakistanis (and the Afghans) would rather turn on Iran than us.

It is shameful to say that the lives lost in Afghanistan have been wasted.

The Armed Forces exist to defend our nation and if they have to do that means of implementing an unpopular foriegn policy then so be it.

Personally, I think the Government should get a real grip on our place in the world and dramatically reduce our contribution to one we can really afford.

I, along with the OP think a Warrior half full of kids from Huddersfield is too higher price.

Firstly there’s a big difference between where the Saudi government stands and where the Saudi people stand on foreign policy. As shown by the events of 9/11 and Bin Laden’s original homeland. :bulb:

Which shows just one of the idiotic foreign policy ideas of the US and UK.If push comes to shove and Israel goes to war with Iran, with the support of us and the US then you’d see exactly which side the Saudis are actually on in addition to Pakistan and the so called ‘friendly’ Afghan government.

I’ll stand by my comments that every single one of the lives of those lost in zb Afghanistan, just like those Russian conscripts, were lost in a place that wasn’t worth bothering with and were a total waste of lives.

Unless you know better and Russia or the world actually really gained anything at all from all those Russian casualties before the British and American governments went over there for another go having learn’t absolutely zb all from Russia’s experience. :unamused: :imp:

So the goverment pull the troops out cos we lost another 6 guys,
that means we “give up” to the taliban.

Which of these guys/gals families would you explain as to why their lives have been lost but we now should pull out of Afghanistan without some sort of result.
they and their families have sacrificed for what the servicemen are trained and proud to do .

gezt:
So the goverment pull the troops out cos we lost another 6 guys,
that means we “give up” to the taliban.

I think that was exactly the same logic that the Russians used after the last 6 of their first 500 casualties. :unamused: :bulb:

It wouldn’t be me that would want to explain it.I’d prefer to see them all taken to Russia to have a personal private chat with any of the relatives who might still be around who lost someone because the Russian government was as stupid then as ours is now. :bulb:
