PTO Pump kit for Volvo

Evening all,

Hope you can help me out on this one. I’m looking at putting a PTO on a Version 1 Volvo FH to power the hydraulics on the neck of a low loader. Can anyone tell me what I need and where I could get it from? The Volvo has a 420 engine with the 12 speed box.

Hi Coiler,
I have used PCM fluid power at Long Buckby and also HY-Parts at Newcastle under Lyme both very helpful, Hy-parts at Newcastle were owned by Hartshornes so they should know exactly what you need for a Volvo, Cheer’s Pete

If it’s only for that purpose then pressure and flow won’t be a big issue so just go to a breakers .the Finns are you best bet ,moose will be able to give you their details .

Have you tried John Charlton ltd,they are in Farnworth and I think they specialise in Volvo
