Hi all any advice on PTO hoses. I wanted to raise them off cat walk but didn’t know if there was a reason not too. Concerned about them jamming in and around the fifth wheel. Thanks in advance
Does it not depend on unit & trailer sorry but only used them a couple times never had a problem with them just lying across cat walk

Why would you want to raise them off the catwalk?
you should only have them connected when tipping per se so what is the problem? running with them connected can open a whole new can of worms so better to run with them disconnected in my thick ■■■■ don’t know anything opinion.
On walking floors? Bungee cord them to front of trailer.
Disconnecting them every load? ■■■■ that.

I did a good one once when I dropped a tipper trailer, connected to an empty curtain sider and when the lift axle went up it squashed one of the hoses ha.
It’s a liquid tanker, I didn’t realise you’re supposed disconnect them all the time. Whoops. Thanks for the replies, always better to ask then just ignore. I will have a look at this bungee idea too. Cheers
Not sure why anyone would disconnect them. Once pto is off they aren’t doing anything.
