Hi all, I’ve held my Cat C since 2014 and doing my Cat C&E (Class 1) training and test next month week commencing 15th November. Just making sure I will have Cat c&e provisional entitlement on my license and won’t have any issues when I present my license card. Also, was wondering if I would be assessed for the reverse exercise by my trainer? Many thanks guys.

No, for fairly obvious reasons. Things might have changed and various rules relaxed, but not so far as to have the fox guard the henhouse
Unless there is a medical condition then those with full cat C automatically have provisional CE

Reversing part is done by driving instructor. Don’t do it on your test. Govemment changede it bit ago.
Long as your instructor says you can do it that’s all that matters

The instructor who trains you cannot be the one who tests you - that is part of the new rules
