Anybody have any idea how long it takes for them to return a licence with C provisional entitlement?
I sent it last Friday, I understand it won’t be back yet, but I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of a lorry!
Couple of weeks max assuming your paperwork is in order.

I did check over everything. Hopefully it’ll only be a week or so now then.
I wrote an email address and phone number too where it asked incase of a problem.
It arrived today! Woop!
Get out there and enjoy.
Stay away from brokers.
Visit the schools to see the trucks and facilities.
Let us know how training and test goes
I’m going to have assessment drives with Chevrom Training, P&G training, and Gatewen training. It’ll cost me about £60 but I can see which I feel more comfortable and confident with.

Sound good as you say at least you will know who you want to give you money too will they take off the assessment fee if you book with them as I know a company here does they charge £30 for an hr

Yeah the assessments seem to be about £30 but they don’t charge if you book with them.
I think I’ll go with Chevron as there site is a test centre, so where I learn would be where I take my test.
Only downside is they have wagon and drag not a real artic…

Going down to Chevron training on Monday. Which may lead to an assessment drive.
Any tips! I physically can’t wait. This is something I’ve dreamt about since as early as I can remember.
Playing with my toy trucks, using the lines on the living room rug as roads.
And now I’m actually going to drive a lorry!
