Yes you are ALLOWED as a LGV learner on a motorway and you can shout about it

IMHO, That’s a good idea ROG, so I’ve moved it here for discussion. 
Depending on your choice of test centre, it’s perfectly possible that part of your driving test will take place on a motorway.
