should have set a few tyres alight directly below em

Not been to Dartford for quite some time. Got sent there today of all days. I had 3 options, M1 and round the top, M40 and round the bottom or M1 and Blackwall. I opted to go round the bottom but it still took me nearly 6 hours. Back of the queue at the tunnel into Dartford took over 2 hours despite only being about 5 mile.

Don’t go down that way much, wishing I’d tried Blackwall and A2 instead. Did anyone try that way ?

Just think of all those diesel particulates puffing out of all those stationary wagons. Irony in the extreme :unamused:

should have set a few tyres alight around their necks

Can’t remember where I read that they are coming into police protection. One of the protesters has his address plastered all over the Internet. There are mobs baying for his blood in his neighbourhood

Good I hope the cretin lives in fear. His name is Morgan Trowland , I’m sure a quick Google search will show more about this delightful human being.

Kent Police are investigating the person who used the fireworks. No
doubt the Twitter police are more interested in prosecuting the people who set off the fireworks, than the bloody protesters themselves. Which just shows how ridiculous this county has become.

Here’s a quote from another website;

Here’s a quote from another website;

The World’s population is 7.75 billion. The population of Western Europe is less than 2 billion. Let’s cascade that further: that of the UK is less than 70 million.

I’ll put that another way: the UK’s population is less than 0.9% of the world’s total.

Less than 1%… less than 1%, in a country which already is actively looking to decarbonise.

So here’s a question for you:

How is vandalising works of art, attacking retail outlets, slashing tyres and glueing oneself to road infrastructure in a country with less than 1% of the World’s population, but one which is already actively decarbonising, going to significantly influence opinion across the other >99% of the World’s population?

I’ll save you the bother of answering: it isn’t.

Marcus Carambola is the other one. I hope their neighbours let the fannies know what they think of 'em.

But their agenda isn’t all what it seems.

The names and addresses of all of them involved have been circulating online.

Morgan Trowland the New Zealand so called eco warrior with Extinction Rebellion and Stop the Oil protest.
If you live in East London, own a business, if you do if this man comes in to buy anything refuse him, make life uncomfortable for him as he has and is doing so for thousands of normal individuals trying to get on with their working lives to provide for their families.
Everybody share this far and wide
Just to add, From the Romford Recorder, not only been arrested in London but Essex as well, they provide his address?

They include Londoners Morgan Trowland, 39, of Barry Blandford Way, Tower Hamlets; Isabel Rock, 40, of Red Post Hill, Herne Hill; and Nicole Beholz, 39, of Institute Place, Hackney.

Others charged are Craig Exley, 34, of Ardleigh, Basildon; Elizabeth Garrat Wright, 35, Stansfield Road, Todmorden; Gwen Harrison, 45, of Spital View, Kendal; Paul Sheeky, 47, of Wellfield Street, Warrington; and Emma Smart, 45, of Rodwell Street, Weymouth.

It looks to me like those protesting have broken laws and are being charged by the police.
It is up to the law, in a law abiding society, to run it`s course.

It isn`t up to vigilantes to break further laws.

You think laws are too vague or penalties insufficient?
Then voice your opinion. Write to your MP. Go on a march.
(Maybe they won`t listen to you? Glue yourselves to the road then! )

Do the same or more, and you are as bad as, or worse, than these.

It took my son in law five and a half hours to get from Cheriton to Walsall in a van yesterday leaving early morning. He normally only works in the South East and East Anglia with rare visits into London. When he got there it toll 10 minutes to find that the machine had failed because of something very simple which two other of the company’s engineers should have spotted but required a very simple part which would take 24 hrs to obtain and 15 minutes to fit. He came straight back again.

Ok, so…‘‘Write to your MP’’
Let’s take an issue that affects us as an example.

How many ‘letters to MPs’’ have been written by individual and groups of drivers about the overnight UK truck parking situation?

How many petitions to MPs have been organised and sent on the same subject?

How many years has this gone on for?

How many different MPs have been the recipients of these letters, petitions and phone calls, after being replaced when the old one has been voted out?

Has parking improved because of the above?

Waste of ■■■■ time, energy and ink. . :unamused:

Think the other guys had the best ideas, deploy a couple of snipers, or ‘’‘necklace’’ em with a Michelin. :grimacing:

Do you understand the irony of your post Rob?

Does anyone know if the anti protesting laws got brought into force… all i can find on google is that they were being discussed

No it didn’t, much to the annoyance of the Home Secretary. Apparently it failed with the help of Labour, Liberals etc. So what was this Tory majority doing? Did they not hear of the Dartford incident? I checked both main news channels when this started and not one of them reported it. Must be an edict from the Government not to give them publicity. D Mail reported the commons vote .

It failed to pass, even with a Tory majority Gov. It failed with the help of a former official of the 1922 committee.

An almost empty House in the clip. So really we’re stuffed. The House is not interested in our traffic hold ups.

Because it’s a rabidly anti road use party just like their LabLib uniparty allies.Theyve made no secret of their intent to force car users out of their cars and shift freight from road to rail.

Morgan Trowland, 39, of Islington, north London, and Marcus Decker, 33, of no fixed address, have been charged with conspiracy to commit a public nuisance.
