Proffesional drivers scheme with Maritime Transport

Hi, having recently passed both my class c and c&e licences I am now after the elusive first job.
Does anybody know much about the pd scheme run by maritime, sounds like you get a mentor etc to show you the ropes etc??
Any advice or views would be welcomed!!
I’mBased on Merseyside if anybody knows of anything similar that may help me get a start.

Have you tried Stobarts? They take on new drivers.

From what I have read they are exploiting new drivers by paying them less than their normal drivers iirc around 23k per year which for class one work is ■■■■■■■■■■ Stobards pay you full rate when a new starter!

I enquired about the training scheme they have with Scania, specifically the GOV funding they claim Scania have acquired from the DWP…

So I thought I know I will pop into my local DWP and ask…they knew nothing about it…■■

Got two Nice emails telling me too head to Scania…

Have heard f-all…not that I were looking for funding, but it caught my eye as maybe it were a way in with a big firm like Maritime…

Hope the “professional course” ain’t handled in same way…
