I’ve got a Renault Premium 2010. The headlights aren’t great so I have been thinking about a HIDS/Xenon upgrade.
Can anyone offer some advice on a headlight upgrade?
Thanks

Yeah buy a truck that comes with HID’S. Fitting aftermarket HID lights is illegal and it won’t pass an MOT with them on simples. Cars do sometimes get away with it at MOT time but they should not. HID lights should have self levelling fitted and it’s not a case of just swapping headlights on a vehicle. Not to mention HID headlights should be projector type headlights as well.
Assuming your in the UK of course if your in France then not sure of the rules over there.
E BAY is your friend, just swap the bulbs for 24v led headlight bulbs, just remember to change them back before mot time.
Osram and Philips make extra bright but still legal bulbs in 12v form for cars (which are fitted to two of our cars), both in H4 and H7 sizes, are they not available in 24v?

TWO of our cars? Not BOTH of our cars? You just have to show off don’t you…
A headlight bulb?..
For a 2010 Renolt smileybus?
Sounds like a good swap to me.

Think the person getting the Renault not so is getting a raw deal myself.
I’d start by seeing if they’re aimed properly first. I’ve driven wagons from a company with a fleet of over 100 of the same vehicle and some would be great, others would be pointing at the floor. Don’t just check the beam height but also the left/right aiming as well.
