Pratt's Bananas lost load, Kettering 2nd June

Sorry, didn’t get pics, just wondered if anybody knew anything about this?

A43 Corby to Kettering, on the last roundabout (where you turn right to the A14), back doors wide open, I’ve never seen so many bananas in one place. There were crates and pallets everywhere… There were whole bananas, squashed bananas, there must have been thousands of them all over the road lol

Its no wonder bosses wet their silk ■■■■■■■ with excitement when a competant driver walks thru the door asking for a job

It’s not the bananas you need to worry about - it’s all the exotic, deadly, dinner plate sized, spiders that got loose too :open_mouth:

well it seems like the company name says it all really.

Losing your load from a reefer…that’s an achievement.

Was it a one dropper or a SPLIT load?and where was he off to?FYFE  …ok I’m bored waiting to load

It seems someone slipped up.

Police are appeeling for witnesses…

Sounds like the driver was a right monkey !!

He could get a banana good telling off.
(Say it slowly… I’ll get my coat)

there’s a Brazilian Wandering Spider, aka Banana Spider on the loose in Nuneaton :frowning: how long would it have took it to travel that distance?

no mention of anything being bent then

Not long if it hitched a lift.

seen one of these driver a couple of years back, young lad with a cap on, on the motorway BOTH feet up on the limiter looked to be playing a gameboy or something, i too thought the name was quiet fitting

Pratts was a respected outfit 20 years ago. Lots of older shirt and tie type drivers. How times change

it happens more than you’d think…

Southern fried chicken anybody !!

Last month, on the A17 near Sutton Bridge on that roundabout I saw a tractor and trailer full of spuds on its side.

At least the driver secured the load then.
