hiya…so at 7 am on Saturday morning we hear one almighty bang. jump up and look out of the window
this chap had run straight up the back of the brother in laws pickup (we was visiting as it was the kids birth day).
problem is he managed to reverse off and drive away. still no problem they have cctv and he got the number plate.
it stuns me the van was still derivable but it was, I’d have thought the air bags would have gone off for a start.
now this silly pratt could have stayed and said, I,ve had a couple last night and may be over the limit, ok
we can sort it out…he could have said i’ve no insurance but i’ll pay up some how will that be ok.
he chose to run(stupid pratt) brother in law just phoned the old bill with the van reg the colour and thats it.
now i would think the driver will get done for leaving the scene of the accident which will cost him a fortune
plus he’ll get lumbered with a handful of points. if anyone knows him tell him he made a silly mistake
we would,nt of bitten of his head and now its going to cost him. its only a pick up and it still drives as it had a
strong back bumper. oh it was in a 30mph zone, you should see how far forward the pickup(Mitsubishi animal)
when forward 2 feet and across the pavement a foot and half. he had a Astra van. maybe the sun was in his
eyes we’ll maybe never know.

prob no licence either so the points thing wont worry him / HER nor will anything else really
My brothers between them have wrote off 3 of my mother’s cars off. Once one of them hit a cental reservation and a kerb, left the car there and tried to say it was stollen to my mum/police.
The same brother also took another one of her cars a couple of years later after being on the ale all night and shoving God knows what up his nose, hit a parked car, smashed all the front end in, limped the car home and parked it on the drive, then tried to tell my mum that she had taken the car out after she’d been on a night out (like she’d believe that). He lost his licence for that one.
Then my other brother took my mums car on Christmas day night, ■■■■■■ up and high on coke, crashed into a tree, he and his mates all escaped from that one and we’re never caught by the police, I tried to get my mum to drop him in for it, as he’d taken the keys. Don’t think he ever got done for it in the end, as she always said she couldn’t shop one of her own son’s
So over the space of about 4 years my mum went from 7 years ncb to 0 all because of my brothers, she’s had to pay God knows how much in excess for the thefts. Then there is all the hassle for the people who’s car my brother hit.
I’d like to point out each time they took it when she was asleep in bed.

Didn’t say it was ok driving without insurance…i was saying don’t run, you can work things out. i feel quite sorry for the driver. it may cost him £1000 fine and loose his licence. plus high insurance, a couple of grand would put the pickup right.
it might be a works van, then he’ll loose his job…just because he had a couple of cans didn’t say he was over the top.
he may have thought he was…as it happends the van was quite new.
