Power shot caffeine booster

Any of you lot seen them on the road,£1.99 for small bottle, with nutrients, longer lasting, they advertise them in truck mags too.Can order on line.

yeh have seen them, but i think if u had one the come down after all that suger is fineshed will be worse than just being tired, personally id just stop and have a quick 30min or something no energy drink will keep u awake for long.

I took two energy pills that I bought from Truckhaven. They were terrible. I was on a long stint on the m6/m74 and popped them. It felt like my eyes and mind were awake but my body was asleep. I was sitting slumped and barely able to hold the weel. I had to think hard to get myself to snap out of it to open a window or something. Scary…what if a car pulled out in front? I dunno… never again am I taking them

I find that popping a couple of Boots Energy Plus caffeine pills before I start my night trunk shift is quite sufficient.

There was a topic about this recently ,concensus was dont do it ,if you need some kip then take a break we all know that its not always practical .but consider the consequens ces of not stopping.

Ive doen the Pro plus, the red bull etc etc… Its all in the mind as YOU THINK its supposed to help. The real thing that helps is enough sleep or a good 10-15min walk in cold air at night (If able to)

Or if you just canny stop then shoving your heed oot the winday for a good 30 seconds will waken you for sure

Loughborough college that had a dedicated team of scientists that advise the government on road safety incidents and sleep issues for both HGV drivers and car drivers.Think they put those wires on your head to measure brain activity, stimulus experiments etc.Remember the guy that went down a railway embankment killing train crew/passengers,lied to cops, said had kipped, but his mobile phone and computer records proved otherwise, pervising the course of justice, apparently.Up all night on his Tinternet. :exclamation:

was that the guy driving the landrover and trailer   been talking to his lover all night or something, came round roundabout or something then went down embankemnt rolled it and landed on tracks as a high speed train ploughed into him :exclamation: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :frowning: :frowning:

Yes,thats the one.Think he got jail, must be out by now.Loads of people drive when knackered,a fight with the Mrs all night, then start a shift at 2 or 3am,is dangerous.

Was he not on a long slog on the mway? I’m sure that’s what it was

M62 at Selby IIRC

and he’d been texting and emailing his girlfreind all night… :exclamation:

my opinion only… if you need artificial stimulants to stay awake… you should be in bed and not driving.

His surname was Hart ,there was a debate as to whether it was a road or railway accident, silly man was up all night saying sweet nothings. The w.nker was old enough to have more sense.

a spoon full of coffee swill down with coca cola
“try going to sleep on that”
