IN THERE ATTEMPT TO CUT DOWN SPENDING THAY SAID THAT THE DRIVERS WHERE ON TOO MUCH OVER TIME SO THEY PUT US ALL ON A FOUR DAY WEEK SO WE HAD TO PICK A DAY OFF PER WEEK SO THAT TWO TO THREE DRIVES WERE OFF PER DAY.
SO NOW WE CAN ONLY GET BETWEEN 40 AND 44 HOURS A WEEK AS THEY DONT WANT US DOING OVER TIME, AND THEN THEY GET AGENCY IN TO COVER OUR DAY OFF.
JUST RECENTLY THEY TRIED TO STOP THE OVER TIME RATE ALLTOGETHER AND JUST PAY US A FLAT HOURLY RATE STRAIGHT THROUGH UNTIL A LOAD OF DRIVERS LEFT.
LAST YEAR THEY TOOK OUR TIME AND HALF OFF US FOR BANK HOLIDAYS SO THAT IS NOW SINGLE RATE AS WELL.
SO YOUVER GOT PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GO IN AND DO THE JOB BUT THEY DONT WANT TO PAYE YOU FOR DOING IT IF ITS GOING TO TAKE YOU MORE THAN 40 HOURS TO DO IT.

In there attempt to cut down spending thay said that the drivers where on too much over time so they put us all on a four day week so we had to pick a day off per week so that two to three drives were off per day.
So now we can only get between 40 and 44 hours a week as they dont want us doing over time, and then they get agency in to cover our day off.
Just recently they tried to stop the over time rate alltogether and just pay us a flat hourly rate straight through until a load of drivers left.
Last year they took our time and half off us for bank holidays so that is now single rate as well.
So youver got people who want to go in and do the job but they dont want to paye you for doing it if its going to take you more than 40 hours to do it.
