Potholes + Diesel Spills

Is there an easy way of reporting these? I’ve just spent a good 15 minutes trying to find how to report a pothole on the M62. Saw a good diesel trail around the Lymm Interchange earlier as well, but it seems to be impossible to get anyone/anywhere to do anything about it?

The DirectGov bit asks for your postcode and then sends you to the council where you live. Bout as helpful as a dead monkey when you’re the other side of the country etc…?

You’re obviously not up with the times, this was mentioned on;y earlier in the week, again! 0300 123 5000, then you get a choice of things, pick the one you fell covers the problem.

For trunk roads & motorways call the HA 01213358300, good for debris, accidents, obstructions, and any other hazards on the network, usually clued up & will pass info on to relevant dept. I think The Real Biffo has suggested that you should mention you’re a truck driver as they realise your info is usually more reliable & accurate than a MOP.

PS they appreciate the mile marker info :bulb:

TRB beat me

Maybe some of the truckers could explain why there’s usually a diesel spill at Lymm roundabouts, overfilling or poor fitting caps? Or are we going to blame the cambers ?

I thought bikers used to put stickers on a lot of pumps reminding people of the consequences.

The spills will probably be there a lot longer with the ‘new improved’ Isu contracts

Cheers all. Will go to specsavers before the next time I use the site search

Truckhaven roundabout is always a bit greasy that way, I reckon it’s people filling right to the top then a little spills as the come round the first roundabout.
