Posting images how too agarhhhhhhhhhhh

whats the best way use photobucket or off pc :smiling_imp: :bulb:

I use Picasa 3, and its pretty straight forward.

I use tapatalk and upload direct from my phone.

i put this on another post a few days ago, seems complicated, but really is easy!

You dont need to upload photos to Photobucket or the like, you can put them on here direct from your computer!
1.Click on upload attatchment just below the box you write your comments in
2.2 new boxes will appear, click on browse
3.Your pictures will come up from your computer
4.When you click on the photo you want to post, it will come up in a little box next to file name, click on open
5. Your photos from your computer will dissapear, you will see a small box saying add the file
6.Click add the file
7.the name of your picture will appear and 2 boxes, 1 will say place inline
8.Click place inline
9.Give it a second and it will appear in the box you write in
10.Click preview to check the photo
11.Click send.
12.Job done!
it may take a couple of goes but after that it will be 2nd nature!

004.JPGI find this way the easiest too.

I have been using Jackdaw’s method to post photos without problems but have recently hit a problem. I have changed cameras from Olympus compact to Panasonic compact. Photos taken with the Olympus upload ok but those taken with the Panasonic will not upload and the website tells me the file is invalid. The site administrator suggests the Panasonic photo file sizes are too big. The Olympus file sizes are approx 1.8- 2.0 mb but the Panasonic photos are approx 4.5 mb. Any ideas how the file size can be reduced■■?

Sorry that should read Kindle’s method of uploading !!!

Are the images from your camera in Jpeg format?

Yes they are jpeg

tyneside:
Yes they are jpeg

I had the same problem, if one picture failed to upload it deleted the whole post which is laptop chuckingly annoying…

If loading a picture, just go into your editor and resize it to less than 2 KiB. Picasa actually has a ‘web forum size’ in the editor.

Just remember to save the resized picture and post that one instead of trying to post the original again. I use this as a good chance to properly label the pictures I use so I can find them again.

I the words a much more prolific photographer and poster than me,

'I hope this helps… ’

I’ve just followed Kindles advice

AlexWignall and all others from this morning. Thanks for the advice. I have resized and posted a couple of photos successfully. Can you tell me if there any adjustments I can make to camera or laptop so individual photos don’t have to be resized ■■ I load from camera to laptop via usb cable into the standard Windows file manager.

Now there’s a thing… I’ve just checked the settings on the camera on my phone and I can re~adjust the resolution and the file size.
Looks like we have both learnt something new…

Glad to be of service James!
