Possible photos for chapters

If i paid £275 quid for it will it fit on the back on my trailor with out mods thanks

Not unless you have a tiny trailer, no.
2048x2048 pixels, which is 17x17cm.

I could do the photography you need. You are looking, at a guess, at £400 per shooting day, £550 if you want exclusivity.

For that you get a days shooting,
hire of then model for when you need a driver in shot,
hire of a driver for moving shots,
professional lighting,
an experienced photographer of 8 years,
brand new, top of the line Fujifilm equipment,
photos 6000px on the largest side, which my sign writer assured me is large enough to do a double deck,
Probably two days processing per day’s shooting.
Commercial rights to use the images.
The use of my unit and Trailer on a weekend.

My history includes regular publications on thecheckeredflag.co.uk, motorsport.radio and racecarjournal.net, occasional publications on tintopguru, brands hatch website etc. Print publications by MSV, BARC, Donington Park, Trucking Magazine. Marketing use by several sign writers, Dunlop and Britcar. Online uses by Britcar, The Synergy Centre Sheffield, Horsepower at the Hall, Toddington Town Brass Band, and more.

I think you’ve completely missed the point of the OP.

No. I saw the point of the Op. Discounted it as the ravings of a deranged cheapskate and sought to educate him. There is a reason that I am a trucker as well as a tog. Thats because people like the Op, refusing to pay a professional worker a professional rate and taking a poor quality product for credit and a free book make it so I can’t guarantee an income from photography. Until said cheapskates get to understanding why an pro tog charges a quality price for a quality product, we are just going to continue the race to the bottom on both price and product.

I know I’m not going to get the gig because I have the balls to make the point but hopefully, if I make it enough, another tog might actually earn a crust eventually.

The o.p. posted this request for free pictures at 13.46, returned to see the response an hour and a bit later, got the message, and has not been back since.
Just like the other posts he has posted here before. Asking for freebies and buggering off…

You are making money off this book I presume, so you should pay for the photos within it.

Here is an idea of the sort of costs involved. I base my photography prices on Alamy or Getty’s royalty free rate.

Hi 109LWB,

You’re spot-on, but then there’s also another point to be made…

The Getty image might not be accurately described or titled.

The linked pic wouldn’t be a good example of what the title claims it to be.

:bulb: Depending on what’s wanted by an author, a tog’s access to sites to take certain pictures could also be problematic in some cases.

Thanks very much for everybodies help with the photos and other helpful commentary!

The in cab roadview snowscene was especially helpful but all were much appreciated.

Other photo’s that would be useful would be something like an epic sat nav fail.

If anyone has any photo’s of the Canadian Drag Truck Racing I would love to use one of them.
I thoroughly recommend checking out this drag racing, photos or not. Its an incredible sight.Check this out-Video for canadian drag truck racing▶ 3:39

As a really cute looking driver, I would think I should be included in this book. I would be willing to pose in various positions and give different looks along with my Renault. the pair of us just posses that certain je ne sais quoi that could grace the pages of Vogue.
