Phone them anyway. It’s exhibition work, I’ve done a lot of this myself and always loved it, ability to get on with the rest of the crew, willingness to muck in and enthusiasm count for a hell of a lot, exhibition work is seasonal and they might be glad to have your contact details some time in the Spring/Summer when they are stuck for a driver at short notice.
