One Stop had an license application in the Wakefield Express for 60 trucks and 60 trailers but i thought it was for the old Hi Way Express building.
and Lidle or Aldi not sure which one are building a new distribution centre in the Dearn Valley somwhere

More wishful thinking was that they would bomb Goldthorpe and before you get on your high horse I went to Dearneside and Highgate J & I school as a kid living in Thurnscoe lol

Aldi were advertising in the Barnsley chronicle, about 6/8moths ago. For drivers for there new DC at Goldthorpe.

small world ain’t it. I go swimming on Sunday at Deane side.

We have about 8 Aldi units and trailers us ring our yard as a base until they have moved to their new RDC up Derne Valley.

and I take my daughter there on sundays both kids went to Highgate an im from middy lol
I was at Dearneside 1984 - 1989 they opened the pool around 1987 / 1988 so spent last two years of high school doing swimming for PE or should I say ogling my female school mates lol. Highgate school was brill then they lost half the playing field to the Goldthorpe by-pass. AS for Darfield lived there for ten years and had family in Middlecliffe sorry Little Houghton lol
