Possible 4 day week

having lost saturdays, load bonus, overtime and down to a 40 hour basic week it now seems the next step could well be a 4 day week!!!

so lose a days pay to stay in a job and hope things get better and pick up, nice idea, i hope the land lord, insurance company , council tax ,gas,electric,water, banks etc all reduce their payments to fit in with my loss, they’re all nice people im sure they will oblige given the circumstances…

i called hmrc and housing benefits to enquire if would be entitled to any help should this situation arise , and sure enough i will get a big fat £0 … thanks again then

Well, two options:

1, Get a job somewhere else or
2, Stick with it.

Simple.

Try Mansel Davies; might have the odd day on the milk tankers or suchlike? If you end up having a regular free day, or at least one you can predict a couple of weeks in advance, I’d be tempted to knock on a few local doors and let them know you’re available. You never know, those odd days could turn into something more permanent. Wouldn’t have thought it was worth doing agency in Pembrokeshire, when I was with Driver Hire for a few months about 6 years ago I never got anything that way, it was all Swansea area.
