Posh name for drivers

I have been thinking (yes i know dangerous). A lot of people in various jobs are re badging there jobs with fancy posh names, well I have come up with one :bulb:

No longer accept being called a driver or a trucker but instead insist being called a Logistical Facillatator.

What do you think

Logistics Specialist

Yeh thats a good one.

Customer Requisition Facilitators

Polymodal rapid response point to point vehicular transit specialist

Or Agency driver

What about Logistic’s Relocation Operator.

Bully

Somebody once said to me in a storage yard, “You’re a pilot aren’t you? How do I get to…”

Thought that was a good one.

When I was on the dole many years ago, I re-titled myself a Benefits Requisitions Clerk.

Don’t forget guys, a fighter pilot is just a multi-drop delivery driver these days…one bomb here, 2 over there…they just don’t have to deal with buses, taxis and cycle couriers

Jules

If only I could drop a bomb on one or two places I’ve been to/worked at … :stuck_out_tongue:

Who’s Jack Burton?

tartanraider:
Who’s Jack Burton?

Wasnt ‘Jack Burton’ played by Patrick Swayze in the film, Big Trouble In Little China??.. he was a truck driver…

Close Andy, it was Kurt Russell

Jules

I thought about Cargo Relocation And Placement Specialist till I realised what the initials spelt. :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

But to someone every one of us is a VIP.

Boots O’Lead:
Close Andy, it was Kurt Russell

Jules

he sure did, and swayze played a trucker in that other truck movie “BLACKDOG”

I haven’t seen ‘Blackdog’, but I think that the Jack Burton character is just too close to the truth and so funny.

Anybody wanting to see a good (  ) truck action sequence on film, check out ‘The Transporter’ for the acrobatic/fight sequence on the Renault Magnum near the end - doesn’t say much for Renault quality control though

Jules

How about a

“Large Mechanical Load Carrying Operational Navigator and Pilot”

Or a
L OAD
O PERATIONAL
R OAD
R OLLING
Y OUNGSTER
D OING
R EAL
I NTERESTING
V ARIED
E VERYWHERE
R OUTES

My official job title is -

“Driving team member”

:unamused:

How about:

Nationwide Highways Negotiator

Doesn’t have an acronym though :frowning:

i sometimes have to be a customer service peacekeeper or maybe even a producer of logistical movements.

but most of the time i am the gaurdian of goods in transit.

but most places call me a steering wheel jockey

jon

Hi Jonboy

I’ve been known to be a producer of log movements as well, at least once a day or you need more roughage in your diet
