A fine picture of aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth sailing out of Portsmouth.
I sailed from Portsmouth a few times, heading to Ouistreham (Sword Beach) and
St Malo with Brittany Ferries, and occasionally to Cherbourg with P + O Ferries.
I always travelled on the night ferry so that I could do the deliveries by day, and
be on the next night ferry back to Portsmouth. Picture from Bootle Times Form.
