I apologise before I even say this but if you have to ask questions as dumb as where can I park should you even be driving, don’t you have eyes, can you not look and think. Do you need others to think for you, next you will need to know
where you can have a wash or a ■■■■

Green…You are a ■■■. Sometimes knowing in advance can be a Godsend. One day you’ll be shafted and ask. :unamused:

Green… are you for real?

I have lost count of the times I have been sent to somewhere I have never been before… and asked those who have been there for some advice. I have also spent a weekend break in the biggest dump in the world not knowing a couple kilometres away was a Routiers that was bouncing all weekend.

Nothing wrong with asking

Heading towards P O T there is a Tesco and a macdonalds on the left hand side, if you turn left at the lights there is an small industrial estate behind the supermarket. its just short of a mile away from P O T .

If you’re delivering/collecting from the port, will they not let you park inside somewhere?

Yes Ricky I am real, but in 40 years of driving for a living I have never ever felt the need to ask where can I park. If I was taking a weekend break I may also ask for advice as my needs then would be greater, but the OP has not asked for this advice, he asked where can I park, if every driver on the road came on the internet to ask where can I park would you have the time to advise them, in my opinion it aint rocket science finding somewhere to park, you just have to open your eyes and look, I knew my reply wouldn’t agree with everyones point of view hence why I apologised in first paragraph but if we all had the same point of view and opinion would we need a forum to discuss it

thanks for the advice guys!

Green, we must differ because I have never thought to do anything else than to ask for local knowledge. It might expain why I have spent evenings in great venues with good people while a few hundred yards away colleagues have parked up and been bored out of thier heads for the night not knowing a minute or so away there was facilities.

I dont know every area of the UK, and while a place may look good to park without any local knowledge it maybe the local theft hotspot.

I fail to see your issue with some one asking ( in my view quite sensibly) for tips on a decent place to park in an area they dont know…

Thats what is so re-assuring on this site!! Always someone to help you out :imp: :imp: . I have also over 40 years on the job and I have
never been scared or too far up my own arse to ask for advice from anyone. Ps the left filter at the Mcy “D” is a good bet and its only a
mile to the port. Regards kevmac47.

funny you should say that Vern as I have also thought similar about you, according to your posts you state that you have no money, yet you state that you walk out of jobs because they are not good enough for you. You claim that you will never sign on as unemployed so please enlighten all of us how a person with no money, no job, and no visible means of supporting himself manages this, we all want to know,
by the way, have you been taken you off the premod list yet and how did a nice upstanding bloke like you get put on it

Well…Where do I start with this? Why I walk from jobs is no concern of yours.
I probably walk because I’m highly strung and a cantankerous prick.
I have no money, but my girlfriend is minted. I live off her.
Yes I’m off pre-mod. And I got put on it for telling Rikki (Whilst ■■■■■■ on Champagne, knowing I’d be too ■■■■■■ next day, and not being able to do a job I didn’t want to do) something I shouldn’t have said. Amongst other things.
Me…Upstanding? Nah! I’m a prick. But not quite in your league yet.

Someone asks advice on where to park in an area they don’t know…and Mr Green has an issue…

Can I ask if in the 40 years you’ve been driving if you’ve ever asked anyone for advice? Or do you really know everything??

He has spent a lot of time researching me. Probably too busy!

Start by asking where you can park that might help
why you walk from jobs was no concern of mine until you posted it on here, if it was no concern of mine why did you feel the need to inform me of it, same with the pre-mod, it was no concern of mine and didnt know about it but you felt the need to inform anyone who has access to the internet that you were on premod, you have now felt the need to inform everyone that you are living off your other halfs money and when you are intoxicated you upset people. None of these are any concern of mine so why do you insist on telling me
the OP asked a question, I gave him my answer, you may not have liked it
but thats because we all have have a different opinion

I like you…You’re silly! But you DID know I was on pre-mod. You asked me how I ended up on pre-mod. You wanted to know how I survive with no money. You asked why I walk from jobs I don’t like. You ARE a nosey prick aren’t you? Go on deny that Green around the gills!

Green ya prick end
