Poor driving standards

I was on the A34 between Stafford and stoke last night, on a diversion from the M6,

You’ve got roundabouts and one artic going round from lane one and another normally a parcel company or a pallet network style double decker trying to overtake on the roundabout. Then it gets to the exit and driver in lane one has to be over to the white centre line so trailer doesn’t go up the kerb or hit any fence or bollard, and driver in right lane his trailer is going to touch the centre line as he goes round the corner to exit. More often then not it ends up with both drivers having to slam on. Are these idiots in such a rush that they can’t wait for a straight bit of road, instead they try and claw back every last split second like they are trying to better their lap time on the Nurburgring. Idiots. Nothing more than car drivers with a class 1 licence as they must think they are driving a car.

Careful Rowley, you will be accused of attention seeking again. It’s not the done thing to point out bad drivers. It don’t go down well on here unless you are one of the gang you can’t point it out.
Trouble is if you spoke to the two drivers concerned they would no doubt tell you they are the best drivers ever. It’s strange how we have all these appalling drivers yet anyone you speak to is the best ever.

I can’t work it out

Oh yes everyone is the best driver ever. I don’t crash and don’t have points so I’m obviously a good driver. That’s the one isn’t it? Unfortunately those 2 things alone don’t make you a good driver

I was driving up the m1 this evening, and nothing happened

I think we are all disappointed in poor driving standards, especially when it is of our brethren.

However, I feel we have to recognise that the race to the bottom (courtesy of accountants and greedy directors/needy shareholders) Has nearly go to the finish line and what we have and have to be a part of is a dangerous and alarming free for all, no Police, no conscience, no morals, ethics…Well, most cannot comprehend them, nor accept them into their lives, so brotherhood is but a distant memory and every man for himself is the sad reality of what was a once honourable society, it is too late, all is lost, but the orchestra will keep on playing.

Or you were just driving along totally oblivious in a world of your own and not anticipating anything like most truck drivers
