Had to pop into Poole docks this week. Been years since I was last there when it was a busy and thriving place. What a change, seems they have lost all there ferry services except a fast cat service to the Channel Islands. Only thing I couldn’t puzzle out was why there would be a lot of LKW Walter and Nolan transport trailers there if there is no ferry service. Is there a freight only boat or something ?.
They still do Poole to Cherbourg and Poole to St.Malo.

Poole Cherbourg is still running but under review. Poole Santander on Saturdays . And the channel island services.
Barfluer (Deal seaways) starts again end of February on a daily Poole - Cherbourg. I think the Cotentin (currently freight only poole - cherbourg / Poole - santander) is off somewhere else.
The fast cat is returning to Weymouth from a stint at poole in the summer.
There’s also a ferry every hour to Brownsea Island and one twice a day to Wareham, but they wouldn’t probably be of interest to anyone on here

Is that so Kerbut? Won’t be sad to see it go, fed up of tipping mon am, + load weds, prefer the old sun arternoon boat.
