Pollock

Evening All.
I’ve trawled through the various posts about the said company.
What I’m after is, who are their major clients?
I’ve heard it’s a lot of newsprint? Is this correct.

Think they do coca cola from East Kilbride

Seen a lot of trailers empty waiting for I believe paper out of Montrose docks.

They also haul a lot of packaging out of Haltwhistle

There’s always a few parked up down at Truckhaven on the M6. do they do trailer swaps there or do they use it as an operating base for England?

Think its WH Malcom now,we get coke in our place every few days(cash n carry) but its usual a subby stuart who delivers very nice guy but with a strange truck scania top line in pollock colours but says MALCOMS on the front (previously ran for pollock)

truckhaven is a change over point and a place some of the english drivers are based there.one driver at our place used to drive up there on sunday pick unit and trailer up start his week then drop it back there friday morning dinner time drop the trailer so a weekend shunter could pick it up and bring his trialer down for him to start again.the coca cola work was ok only problem u tip give them ur reload number and they make u park up till the next morning for it even though it was sat on floor in wharehouse.they always keeped to the booking times would never let u load early at all
