Maybe in the immediate run up and during the olympics it could create some temp jobs like delivering food, drink and general tourist crap that they like to buy, but otherwise no.

I thought that perhaps it could help a little bit with taking away some of the competition from those who hold both PSV and HGV licenses and help to boost retail in the city. And then there’s the hold-ups it’s probably going to cause.
Could be some temproray jobs when they form search parties sent out to look for the poor sods who have to deliver to the east side of London at the time, then more search parties to find the searchers.
