Migrant crisis: Iraqi migrant allowed to live in Britain and claim benefits despite being wanted in Germany.
Extradition not Deportation in the link you gave.
oh dear have the lefties finally learnt that twisting words doesnt work with me
it is this simple… if sending him back to iraq do it. if sending him to germany do it. it doesnt take 10 months if you really want to do it
Starmer’s popularity is spreading to the football terraces.
The game was so lacklustre the fans turned their attention to Starmer.
You just know this is going to take off in every ground in the country…at least he’ll know what free speech really is.
Is he the most unpopular PM in last 30 years ?.
And on the mototway.
Yeah it’s childish…but funny.
the only riots caused by a government i remember were the poll tax riots in 1990 i think. thing is thatcher listened and changed her mind. starmer just sits there calling people far right and racist.
I mean 2-0 against Andorra…. a bit better than their last game against them!
Good question…But why only 30 years? Why exclude Thatcher? She left office 35yrs ago.
How do you compare the popularity of someone today with someone years ago?
To be fair I think you need to ask people at the time about popularity. After all, we tend to look at the past through rose tinted specs.
Anyway, YouGov has a poll of UK Pms, and Starmer is not as far down as some others according to them.
But given time he might well drop further.
Remember of course that this is a wide spread poll it goes further than the public bar of the Fox’n’Grapes and the St Nigel of Florida choir boys footie club.
ED Whoops! Link
Yeah course it has mate.
I was taking you seriously until this point…you just can’t help yourself can you.
You can always rely on Franglais to dispute and refute what is otherwise blindingly staring you in the face, in favour of some official narrative or survey or another.
…
Oh yeah…and invariably backed up.(as if it makes it more authentic) by some snide patronising remark featuring ‘Karen’ or ‘The fox and bloody grapes’…(wearing a bit thin btw that one tbh.)
Ok fair play…So as ever mate let’s agree to differ on how each of us form our opinions in life.
I will carry on basing my opinions on what I see with my own eyes…irrespective of the venue, and my own ears irrespective of the source, turn it over in my mind, and decide whether or not it is an accurate analysis, if it’s proved right it’s right…if it’s proved wrong it’s wrong.
Been pretty successfull so far in my life.
And you just carry on keeping listening to and repeating your official lines,.narratives and surveys..
Job sorted.
No reason or motive for only 30 years other than it just coming off the top of my head.
Yep Thatcher was deffo not high in the popularity stakes…agreed.
Now your mate Boris…(best sit down for this one)
Despite all the (some may say successful) berating and general character assasinations by the bleating lefties, many of us were astute enough just to write it off as either b/s and/or a means of (again successfully) achieving their agenda…ie get rid of him.
I aint checked any of your ‘‘surveys’’ (although I no doubt know you are about to post one ) but I think you will find that despite it all he is still quite popular with a LOT of people.
…
i wonder how many 151 year olds they asked about the 1st earl of beaconsfield or 184 yr olds for sir robert peel.
you do talk some waffle
about as far back as you can realistically go is Stanly baldwin second go (1935-1937) there are a few 90 year olds.
sunak is 7th and boris is 8th starmer… 17th but they must of asked the patrons of the fox and grape for those 2
Didn’t even bother reading it tbh mate.
Where does ‘Pitt the younger’ stand on this…was he more popular than Starmer?
I don’t know…but I know somebody who will.
Reform UK’s head of policy Zia Yusuf has said Boris Johnson would never be welcome in his party.
He branded the former Conservative leader “one of the worst prime ministers in British history” and accused him of betraying Brexit voters.
“We certainly would not welcome Boris Johnson – that’s never going to happen,” he told Sky News’s Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips.
“He threw open our borders. The Boris wave, which is millions and millions of non-EU migrants flooding into the country post-Brexit, betrayed every single person that voted Brexit.
Personally i thought he may at one time join.
You quote Yusaf as saying on Sky
“He threw open our borders. The Boris wave, which is millions and millions of non-EU migrants flooding into the country post-Brexit, betrayed every single person that voted Brexit.
Which is fair enough. And is of course what Brexit was all about for many, many, people.
Keep the foreigners out.
Some may have voted for it for other reasons, and many dress it up in different language, but for many it was all about keeping foreigners out.
Anyway, Johnson is in the news again. This time for possibly misusing gov funding after quitting office, and for more meetings (dinner parties) during lockdown.
Re lockdown, the day after it was introduced he had as a dinner guest the man who helped pay for his redecoration of his flat. Boris Johnson had dinner in lockdown with peer funding flat refit, files suggest | Boris Johnson | The Guardian
Re gov funding he is alleged to have used gov funds (meant to help ex-PMs perform duties for the UK), to help his contacts with foreign officials to make himself money. What are the Boris Files and what do they reveal about former PM’s conduct? | Boris Johnson | The Guardian
Is he using public funds to pay for his office to make private money years after he did anything for the country?
two tier politics in parliament now
peter kyle who called farage a pedo for pointing out the dangers of starmers additions to the online safety act has been shunted across to business and trade secretary from silence and innovation. didnt get sacked for hurty words. Lord hermer has kept his position as attorney general and again wasnt sacked for calling people nazi’s for wanting to leave the echr.
there was a golden opertunity for him to get rid of them
No chance I reckon Andy, so doubt if he’ll be losing any sleep.
Think possiblly Farage would take him, but I don 't know…nor care tbh.
Anyhoo…I’ll leave Franglais to his latest display of hatred of Boris now he’s been given a golden opportunity …
I’ve scored 6 points already on his last post playing ‘Franglais Bingo’’ , I’m just waiting now for a mention of ‘‘Covid’’ and ‘‘Johnson lied to the Queen’’ and I’ll be heading for a Full House.
Shhhhh ..Don’t disturb him while he is in full flow bless him.
Did somebody mention hypocrisy anongst politicians earlier, or was that the Trump thread.?
(Warning… The source is ’ The Sun’ so the highlight may be steered and focused towards the source in order to take away the impact of this latest Labour scandal type report …rather than the actual content .)
The maniac who is Milliband rears his (extremely ugly ) head.
So he keeps his ‘‘evil’’ gas boiler, and we pay his energy bills.
I’ll save our apologist a job.btw…
''But he hasn’t broke the law, he’s fully entitled to it blah blah etc etc. ‘’
the a4 portway in bristol has been dubbed the loudest dual carriage way in britain due to a sign that said beep if you think starmers a ****er no mention of the fox and grape either
too funny
starmer has been reported to the icc (international crimes court) for crimes against humanity over the chagos deal
You know who will blame the Tories and ok it was under their watch but compensation ffs.
Channel migrants in line for millions in compensation
