I have raised this point and question to numerous people (including our resident apologist on here) who defend all this stuff constantly, and I have never had a logical answer to any of it, why in the hell if you are escaping and running from all the horrors they supposedly are, would you:
Leave your family/kids in said hell hole to be bombed and killed while you try and get asylum?
Not think that Southern or Eastern Europe (first points of arrival from the Middle East or Africa) is sufficient after escaping from the “supposed” horror?
Jump in a dinghy at Calais, where you may drown in the Channel, to reach to the UK. Especially when you have come through numerous safe countries and several thousands of miles of non warfare?
Obviously we know the answer is because of the incentives we offer and we are a soft touch. It’s quite simple - stop those and they will stop coming.
