I have seen a video of Middleton talking about knife crime.
I think he said that if he was in authority he would end knife crime and cut on other forms of crime drastically. He pointed out that crime and violence is a blight on the lives of everyone. That we would all benefit if it ended or was, at the least cut back.
He got cheers and a hearty round of applause.

He didn’t say how he would do that though.
A target, an ambition, we might all agree with…
… but I heard no plan on how to achieve it.

What does “I will not rest until London is ours again” mean, I wonder? Will someone reply telling me I know exactly waht is being said?
Is that a message designed to be heard without using actual words? Sort of like a dog-whistle?

But never mind, give it another three years and we will see if Middleton does stand as Mayor of London, and see how well he does.

so what im guessing the rally was held in london not john o’groats or lizard. Most people aren’t self entitled enough to think that when they watch a video and the speaker says “we will all benefit” and they dont live in the area that is being addressed that it includes them.

maybe just maybe what he said. that he wants to make london safe again… end knife crime and reduce other forms of crime drastically. Make it so that kids can go to school or out to play with out being attacked or pressed into gangs. The social injustices faced by many, and possibly the ethnic cleansing of london that affects the country as a hole when they are forced into local communities that are very different from london to name but a few.

as above the ethnic cleansing. shortage of social housing in the areas they are put. anyone that drives into london for work. Besides all that it is the capitol of our nation so effects the majority of us on this site. Besides that london for those of us that live in the uk is less than 700 miles away America is over 3000 more than 4 times the distance.

Of course there is the most obvious answer that london is where the government is housed and that affects every single british persons lives every day.

what a load of hog wash unless your trading in futures (which you wont be not even you are daft enough for that) it has very little effect on the value of shares in a company. Shares in the company are more to do with company performance rather than tarrifs and the like. They also have bugger all to do with pensions unless your daft enough to rely on the dividends then thats your own fault for gambling more than you can afford. Again it has bugger all to do with trump.

trump didnt crash the economy those crying winging lefties did that wanted to keep control of the big pieces of the cake they had bullied, lied and cajoled from people. If it was purely trump then all everyone would have to do is make trade deals amongst themselves and cut america out.

The care and nursing homes have a problem getting unemployed claimants to do the job.

Maybe unemployed are unemployed for a reason which could include any or all of the following.
They can’t do nursing work which is WELL known to be demanding on the back lifting patients on toilets, up from the ground when they fall, in and out of beds etc.
They can’t get to the homes because the home owners to maximise their own profit locate in some “idealic countryside” location nowhere near any let alone a 24/7 bus service, and being unemployed they can’t afford the tax, the petrol, the parking permit, the maintenance.
They’re not the “sort” who could do social care, i.e. they are short tempered, stupid, unfeeling, slow witted, careless, or otherwise unsuited to caring for vulnerable people.
And the biggy. Over 10% of the population have a criminal record that would bar them from working in care, ever. It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to take that fact and consider the remote possibility that at any one time more than 10% of unemployed people have those criminal records - you know a reason why they are jobless.
Probably other good reason around too but these are big enough by themselves.

yes the small amount of my pension plan that is baised on stocks and shares is low risk baised on stable stocks that is not effected by stock market fluctuations. The majority of it is bonds and isa’s that give a fixed yield over a fixed period. Im not stupid enough to gamble with money i cant afford to loose.
