Political discussions... (Part 1)

Surely it’s crystal what I’m on about…very similar to my contributions to the Trump thread in fact.
.
Ok I’ll indulge you in your pretence not knowing ‘‘What I am on about’’…right here goes (once again.)

Firstly if you had continued your famous daily ‘govt performance’ related tirade about Labour as you constantly did about the Tories, and admitted seeing what the majority of the country can clearly see (including some life long voters) maybe me and you would not be having these ridiculous rucks in the first place.

I voted Tory last time, but when things were obvious towards the end, you did not see me coming on here trying to defend the indefensible with continuous derisory positive spin…nah I slagged them off something rotten, they deserved it,.and by Christ these morons certainly deserve it.

On the other hand me being a bit of a political mercenary and not a misguided party loyal servant I would have LOVED it if Labour had made a success in my country and were actually competent in the last 18 months, I am supposed to be the classic working man target Labour voter btw :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
In a nutshellmy patriotism far outweighs my politics.

You all from the very top downwards conveniently ignore how effin appalling they are and what they are doing to the security and the economy (to name only 2) and bizzarelly concentrate on Nigel kin’ Farage.:joy: …(.sorry I lapsed there, he’s my hero according to you I forgot. :joy:)

If Reform are as you all tell us ‘‘A small party with a small number of seats’’ why tf are you all obsessed with him and his party, why give them a second thought? (rhetorical btw…I know the answer)

The Lib Dems for instance are a bigger party, so if you are intent on leaving the Tories alone, why not look upon them as a ‘‘threat’’…
(sorry give me a minute I need to get back on track I just burst out in a fit of laughter after realising what I typed :joy:)

Anyhoo that is the context of ..‘‘What I am on about’’ .

I was speaking generally rather than commenting on specifics concerning Reform councils, of which I aint really concerned about, well not at least until Starmer lifts the election postponement whilst running scared…
Got to admit to giving credit btw…a bloody brilliant if not unethical tactic …respect.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Yeah they are a bad party, a small party etc etc, so at least nothing for you all to concern yourselves about after all then eh?
So just chill,.don t concern yourselves about Nige…and see what occurs.:joy:

So…why are you defending RefUK Ltd?
They fought the local elections shouting about how easy it would be to cut costs, and cut local taxes.
They have not done so. They have failed on their core ponts.
Why did you start talking about Labour councils not cutting taxes or whatever? They were not dishonest/stupid enough to make those promises. RefUK Ltd did, not them.

You all tell us? Who says that? Not me.
They have a very small number of seats, but they did have have a fair sized slice of the popular vote at the last election. Farage is clearly a popular person in the minds of some of the UK voters.

Noooo. Of course you aren’t.
Farage said to watch Kent to show how well RefUK Ltd would perform if in government, and we are, even if you aren’t.

They are a new party…sort of…sort of another Brexit Party…sort of another UKIP Party…sort of a Tory reject MP Party. A home for those who were kicked by voters pissed off with Tory ineptitude. Gullis etc who are unemployable elsewhere are looking for safe RefUK seats.

So they have no track record and what do we do to guess how good they will be? Look at how they do in Councils. Just as Farage suggested.
How are they keeping their promises? Not well.
How are they managing finances? Not well.
How honest and open are they? Not at all.

Oh, and not concentrating just on Kent, speaking about RefUK councils generally?

Omg you want another pointless kin argument then.

I have already said ..I am a political ‘‘voting mercenary’’ that is the present party I favour, got to say it (sorry) #litmustest, they pi55 Starmer off/ they pi55 people like you off…that tells me a lot

Correct but as I said I will be when Starmer getts out of his ‘‘Nobody likes me’’ strop and allows said elections to go ahead…does that suffice,

Again mate…Litmus test.

Litmus test…getting to be a standard answer tbh the more agitated you get about them.

Not much more to say really.:joy:

(But I’ll guarantee you will think of something)

I love to see this b stard squirm.

Wow. So some people..allegedly…are prepared to die early, rather than have their offspring pay inheritance tax.

I can believe that. Sad, but probably true.

To be fair mate if I was coming up to that time of my life, giving these ■■■■ s a penny would almost be a worse option, …all about principle and how strong those principles are.
Ok maybe in reality I wouldn’t.
If people actually do feel that way, It’s a measure and an indication of how much this govt is hated…and in a very short time.

You reckon? You think that wouldn’t happen no matter the party in power?
The suggestion is that some are contemplating shortening their life to save their inheritors mostly their kids, some cash.
That looks pretty grim to me.

Someone leaving £2million should pay nothing anyway. Leaving…say…£4million they would get a bill of about £400,000. (20% of 2m)
So in that example the kids are prepared to let parents die early to save 10% of their inheritance. …
Sorry Bud. No crying from me.

Not bothered mate, I aint a farmer and I aint rich, I was just answering your point and suggesting as to why some people may feel that way.

Look I aint trying to score some political points for the Tories here…that aint my thing.
In MY opinion, (whether you agree or not,) is that when you consider how long this shower have been in, they are the most unpopular govt in my lifetime.

Furthermore hated by much of the working class of whom they are supposed to represent, and by many people who usually vote for them.

The popularity of past govts is neither here nor there nor does it excusr the ptesent govt’s ineptitude.

Don’t be sorry I aint bothered.

…final answer Jeremy.

Oh…and especially this other one of the ‘sh weasel’ variety.)

(Btw… I could not give a toss if some Tory ■■■■ or another did something similar in 2017 or something, I’m sure that was discussed then, …lets concentrate on the current outrageous regime.)

How much did you pay for your last holiday to the West Country @robroy?

What? You call that work?

Khan etc visited Nigeria, Ghana, and S. Africa within 6 days… Good job he wasn’t on milage bonus.
Would it have been a good idea to have him travelling economy on overnight flights?
That might indeed have saved a few grand, and had a very tired person trying to talk about billion ££ deals.

That invites the question: are you sleeping OK? You brain seems to refuse to be incapable of thinking for itself. Just repeating (edited videos that cut responses) of events from ages ago…

Yep 20,000 miles, business talks in 3 different countries in under a week.
A very relaxing “holiday”

What business does London do with Ghanaian, Nigeria and South Africa, or vice versa?

I have no idea, genuinely interested. Of course the British Government would have interest quite rightly in business abroad, I’m just wondering what the mayor of a city’s interest is.

I heard news reports yesterday that the Government plan to implement school lessons tailored to tackle misogyny . Whilst I commend them and think that it is a very good thing I can’t but help wondering if this will be targeted lessons directed to schools of ALL faiths! If so then it is excellent, but the cynic in me suspects that the wrong “type” will be targeted

Let’s get ready to rrrrumble

Interesting question.

How about this?

https://www.grow.london/about-us/mayors-international-business-programme#:~:text=The%20Mayor’s%20International%20Business%20Programme%20supported%20more%20than%201%2C300%20London,£6.5bn%20of%20investment.

Clearly it is being told by those involved, but if only a fraction of the possible thousands of jobs, and billions of quid were actually directly due to the Mayor’s team…it still seems like a reasonable use of under 100k.

And, although I daresay @robroy has his fingers in his and is chanting la-la-la, Johnson when Mayor also attended business conferences etc.
It is indeed the Mayor’s job to support all aspects of his city. And business is the very life blood of London.

^^^ seems fair IF true. Imo anything that brings in more money than it costs is okay (within reason of course). Time will tell I guess

:joy::joy: Seriously?
Your apologist position and stance needs a bit of work mate.

You actually think that is a fair and valid comparison?? :joy::joy:
3 put of 10 for that one.

Keep scraping that barrell it appears it’s getting harde and harder for you to justify the actions of these crunts.:joy::joy::joy:
Nah not even gonna try and give that particular ridiculous argument any credibility by trying to counteract it.:joy:

(Double negative btw…‘‘Refusing to be incapable’’ just saying )

Ironymeter time again folks…
From a guy who has proven beyond doubt (continuously) on here that he is totally incapable of thinking for himself in favour of regurgitating and acting upon official lines of his ’ Lefty political masters’'.
As for the videos?..yep, part of my ongoing scientific lefty litmus test experiments on here mate…which seem to be indicating ‘‘Positive’’ every time.:joy:

Just heard about this .:joy::joy::joy:
Shows how much relavance it has to people, they’ve been starving themselves for weeks…not much publicity .
Apparentlly the Lefty s flabbers are well gasted about this in shear concern for their welfare :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Ooh dear poor souls !!
(Word up is Franglais is already about to rock up with a few Big Macs and fries to save them.:joy:)

Let the effers starve, who gives a flying ■■■■ eh?
Who tf are these ‘quote; ‘1000s of everyday Britons’’ exactly??

I hear the 2026 ‘‘Slimmers of the year’’ competition is about to start…I’m off to the bookies.:joy:

(@Maoster…love the Major Bellend thing btw.very apt :joy::joy: )

The hunger striker thing ^^^ is very relevant by the way, apparently one is getting very concerned because the media aren’t using its correct pronouns when talking about it. I’ve put the whole thing on the very top of my DILLIGAF list.

The good news for these wretches is that the political giant David Lammy has been asked to intervene. He’s ordered a twelve inch Hawaiian for them. Job jobbed

Here’s a couple of reactions to the deluded protestors…‘‘Refugees welcome’’ yesterday ‘‘Hunger strikers’’ protest today… must be great to have no job eh?

‘‘Have a ■■■■ in sandwich’’ then he says :joy::joy:
Man after my own heart.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I could think of one or two to describe em.:joy:

Don’t mock the flag wavers mate. As we speak I’m scouring the online sites for “Russians welcome here” flags to wave on the beaches.

The absolute tragedy is that I’d rather live under Putin than Starmer. At least I’d get more freedom.
