A Polish Volvo FH500 overtook me this morning with the Reg No E5 0000 and wondered if European trucks have private plates like we do in the UK , I can’t say that I’ve ever seen any on my travels , does anybody know different ? .
Not specifically for trucks but q a few have private plates here in DK and seem to recall it was a popular way to waste money in Austria, and come to think of it Sweden and Czech as well so yes, not just a UK habit.

Germany,Belgium,Netherlands,lux and Sweden definately do…
when i was over the water on the car transporters i saw alot of private plates in various countries, obviously i didnt get photos of them all but heres a couple I’ve seen.

he still has some glass intact so obviously the pic aint taken in glasgow or northern ireland… 
I have led a bit of a sheltered life but isn’t the plate on the Mercedes physically impossible?
