I know a lot of people slate them on here but without the help of one the other day I’d have struggled!
I’ve only just passed my class 1 after 10 years driving class 2, in my second day behind the wheel I had a difficult reverse onto a bay (quite tight and lots of obstacles in the way) I’m the first to admit I cocked up big time and messed up the reverse. I think mainly because I was feeling a little bit under pressure with all the drivers watching me. Whilst the English lads all sat in there cabs sniggering at my c*ck up a polish driver came over and in his very limited english helped me sort out my reverse and get straight onto the bay.
I couldn’t thank him enough that day and hopefully after a few more weeks behind the wheel I’ll polish up my reversing skills. I also learnt that day not to tie them all with the same brush!

Polish - great set of lads.
We’d have been f****d without them in the Battle of Britain ! Always tip a nod to them at the Polish War Memorial on the A40 when I pass it.
Are you going to polish or polish up your reversing ?

Enough about prison, what about out on the road?
Our yard bloke is Polish and he’s a diamond
Just a shame there’s not enough hours in the day for them
