Police escort

What dictates the need for one , I’m assuming it must be where your going , small village as I see some very big loads and they have ■■■■■■ but not police , all the escorts I’ve had start from depot with you ,how would that work with cops , I assume they’d meet you at pre- planned meet at some point before you get too village , I assume they will then ■■■■■■ you back too main roads . Ta

I cant see the rozzers using an ■■■■■■.

They’ve all rusted away by now.

Your movement order will specify if and at what point a Police ■■■■■■ is required, it will either be because the haulier has asked for a Police ■■■■■■ due to the route being difficult or the Police specifying they must ■■■■■■ for public safety. You will be given a point to park up at and ring in direct to the Police control room( normally if (available an Abload layby) … then you sit and wait until they have someone free, Once you get into the scope of VR1 loads or special orders, then the Police escorts will be planned and manned in advance.

Bring back the Granada “jam sandwich” :sunglasses:

Dozy, the only escorts you would need is to turn around in a yard without wiping the building out…

That’s not fair - it wasn’t his fault a stationary vehicle made him hit the building. It shouldn’t have been there either.

If the building wasn’t there the stationery vehicle wouldn’t have been parked there either. But then why would dozy have been there :open_mouth:

Because Conor held him up by doing 50 and he ran out of hours.

No , I think it’s the dot com vans that need escorting too there designated parking area as they seem incapable of finding it themselves , normally dumping it as near the canteen as possible , with no thought for the driver who has too turn and no regard for the company that has too pay too repair the building .
I notice every time I went to that store afterwards the dot com vans were all parked in there designated parking area !!!, bit like closing the door after the horse has bolted , but just proved my point , building didn’t get damaged when they weren’t parked in my turning circle

:unamused:
